Palm Springs Life Celebrates Women Who Lead: 2022

Over 250 people gathered at the Ritz Carlton to recognize our very own Tara Lazar for the Women Who Lead Business award from Palm Springs Life. Our innovative and risk-taking leader, Tara, shared the stage with two other inspiring leaders from the non-profit and education sectors, Leticia De Lara, and Martha Garcia while Suzanne Somers took to the stage as the keynote speaker for the evening.

The newest member of the F10 Family and Tara Lazar’s latest venture - HIGH-Pie, has finally hit the block! High-Pie is a dessert focused eatery located in Oceanside California inside the famous Top Gun House. High Pie’s menu is centered around its namesake, an individual hand pie filled with a compote made from seasonal, locally picked fruits and filled with house-made mascarpone ice cream, fried, and then baked to order.

Piece of the Pie Community Charity Spotlight with CRWU and Jerry Alcorn of the Alcorn Adaptive Bike & Mobility Shop

Every quarter Birba and F10 pairs up with a non-profit to bring awareness to the issues impacting our local community and the organizations that support them. This quarter we are partnering with Jerry Alcorn of the Alcorn Adaptive and the Come Ride With Us Program. After being paralyzed in 2014 Jerry, founded the Alcorn Adaptive, a local bike shop that specializes in the repair and construction of custom adaptive recreational equipment in Palm Springs. Jerry has since become the Chairman of Parks and Recreation for the city and has helped grow the Come Ride WIth Us (CRWU) Program at the James O Jessie Unity Center.
